1948 Chevrolet Panel Street Rod..."The Pie Wagon". a 350 c.i, small block with a 350 transmission. Front clip suspension is from Camaro. Power disc brakes front, drum rear. Vintage Air A/C. Tilt Wheel, Power steering. Stereo CD player. Wood floor with stainless steel cargo strips. New carpet. Trucks of this type back in the day were often used for neighborhood delivery of pies, just as you had your milkman, breadman, etc., you also had the pie man-hence the name Pie Wagon given to it by the rod builder. The truck is set up very well--it handles and corners like the Camaro that donated many of the parts for the build. The custom Frenched taillights are from a late 70's Oldsmobile 98. Cragar SS rims and new tires were put on this year with less than 500 miles since new. It is an older build that was well done. It was awakened from a 7 year slumber this year and given some cosmetic refreshing and all mechanicals put in good running order. Truly fun to drive and a real head turner. Questions Jon 561 827-7223.
