Car description |
---|
Here is a One Owner (Tulsa International Airport) 1992 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Cheyenne half ton pick up truck. It is a standard cab, short wide, 4x4, 350 with Auto transmission, PS, PB, PW, PL, AC, Tilt and Cruise. We have gone over this truck and tested everything and everything works except the drivers side power door lock.
It has only 91,000 miles. Due to it being an airport truck it has never seen salt as it is not allowed on airports due to aluminum airplanes. It still has perfect yellow paint on the wheel wells, lower fender brace rods due to spending all its life on concrete or blacktop at 25mph! This truck rarely left the Airport property.
It has a great set of BFG Wrangler AT tires, runs out and drives perfectly.
Here is a chance to get a very well maintained vehicle that has been taken care of and not abused, it will last for years. Truck is dry as a bone underneath front to back with no visible leaks of any kind. There IS a stain under the radiator that is automatic transmission fluid. It came from disconnecting the Trans. cooling lines when the radiator was replaced years ago.
The bad: Drivers power door lock not working, Holes from a radio mounted on floor, Mounts for flashing light on cab roof (sealed), Paint damage on both bed sides from toolbox, dash is cracked, rubber cracked on bottom outside of passenger's window opening, aftermarket lighted switch for flashing light installed in dash below radio. Some impression on both doors where decals were removed.
The good: This truck was bought new by the Tulsa International Airport in 10-1991, was on a maintenance schedule and very well maintained, truck has 90,000 miles driving at 25mph or less on concrete and very rarely left the Airport property. We have driven it Approx. 200 miles and everything works except as noted above, We drove it at 90mph and tires Don't need balanced nor does it need an alignment, it runs out and drives out fine! It comes with a 3 piece roll bar (in bed) that was once installed in it for a light bar. It also has the G80 locking rear axle option, four wheel drive works fine and is "Shift On The Fly", AC has been changed over to R-134A and blows ice cold, very good matching set of BFG, AT tires, spare tire and jack included, Original owners manual, spare keys and emergency keys included.
We have done our best to accurately describe the condition of this truck, both the good and the bad.If you have any questions or want any specific pictures of anything please let me know and we will get them for you. If the buyer would like to fly into Tulsa (TIA) airport, we would be happy to meet them there and deliver the truck.Someone is going to get a Great Truck!Truck is advertised in other places so it may sell before this auction ends and removed any time. Thanks!
