1951 Chevrolet Truck 3600 Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door 3.8L

This is a 1951 Chevrolet 3600 that is a restomod with some nice new age additions. . It does have a clear title in my name. It is not a show car by any means but it is a nice head turner and in generally good shape. The motor is a 235 inline 6 1954 from pulling the engine code. the carb has the gaskets replaced. Factory 4 speed manual transmission on the floor. New plugs. wires. distributor and rotor as well has 2 inch exhaust and a 18 inch muffler that exits before the left rear tire. All of the metal on the truck is metal and if there was rot it was patched cleanly. The floor has been patched and the firewall had patches as well. This is a very solid truck and will bring the buyer lots of great memories. truck has been upgraded with a front end disk brake kit that is brand new and it has been converted to Chevy 5 lug in the front and the rear. It is also sporting a nice 74 nova rear end. It also has a brand new complete wood bed kit that includes wood. bolts. angle bars. and metal slats. And bed blocks. The wood has been Minwax polyurethaned to keep it looking awesome for years to come. I built a custom wood rail kit. looks very sleek It has a brand new 2 bore brake master cylinder with prop valve as well. No more crappy 1 bore master cylinder. All of the brake line has been converted to nickel copper brake line. Added a Lokar emergency brake cable kit so you can actually use the parking break. which does not work on 90 percent of old trucks. I found a really nice aftermarket set of tail lights that also incorporates the license plate. Aftermarket Gauges with electronic senders for everything. brand new 12 volt harness and ignition switch for that modern charge and convenience. the oil gauge is not reading. had the gauge tested and it is fine. so its a sender problem. the truck is sitting on a brand new set of 17x7 inch Riddler rims and tires. I also added a turn signal switch to this truck so you can have some modern convenience in a old time ride. Blinkers blink in the front and rear. Another perk is all of the glass has been removed and replaced with new original style green tinted glass. The headliner is brand new. and so are the door panels. . Gas tank is brand new. new fuel filler tube and gas cap with hoses. fuel sending unit is new with the cluster but not reading accurately for some reason. May need to adjust the fuel level sender in the new tank. No rusty gas in this bad boy. the body does have little dents throughout from hail over the years. and the paint is single stage and does not buff the way a nice paint job would have. the horn does not work at the steering wheel. the passenger door sags and doesn't shut perfectly without a little lifting. I have windshield wiper transmission arms but not the vacuum motor. I removed the heater core and heater because it was inoperable. the starter hangs when extended cranking is required to start. but still starts the truck when you don't leave the key turned all the way for to long. the oil pan is leaking oil at the gasket rear corner. this is no show truck but it is a really nice and fun truck to drive and enjoy. just purchased a new vacuum advance for the distributer and a chrome aftermarket air filter as well. you are more then welcome to call me at 214-289-9793 and come see the truck in person.
