Car description |

I have a 1974 Chevy P10 shorty step van up for sale. I know the outside doesn't look like much, but you should always do the cosmetic stuff last. Would make a GREAT delivery/parts van for someone. Not too sure what the previous owner/s did to it mechanically, so I'll just stick with what I've done to it or had done to it. Since I bought it last November I have...
-Switched out the 350 auto tranny with a rebuilt 700r4 tranny.
-Swapped out the 250 inline 6 motor with a rebuilt 350 engine (It can be driven on the interstate now with no problems at all!)
-Custom exhaust for the new engine.
-New front bumper.
-New alternator.
-New starter.
-New ignition switch.
-New fuel gauge/pump and sending unit.
-New serpentine belts.
-Replaced the metal flooring on the driver and passenger side.
-New driver and passenger seats and pedestals with lap seat belts.
-New steering wheel.
-New lights on the back (except for the top 3 marker lights)(I also need to replaced the other top 2 lights because the ones I bought aren't the correct ones).
-New hardware on the back (door stops and hooks/catches).
-New heavy duty aluminum shelving installed on the driver side.
-"L" hooks installed on the passenger side.
**The only real negative about this van is that once I swapped out the engine, the speedometer is off. It typically reads about 15mph over your actual speed.**
So that's everything that I can think of that's been done so far. There's been a lot of work that's gone into this van, and it basically just needs some paint on the outside or the inside. It would also be great advertisement for your business to get it wrapped! You can feel free to come take a look at it or if you want more pictures, that is no problem. Thanks for looking!
