1954 marked the final year of Chevy's Series 1 Pickup. Offered here is a beautifully restored 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Step-Side Pickup Truck with long standing ownership. Our client has owned this truck since 1997 purchasing it from a friend who picked it up down south. Over the course of the past 20 years he has fully restored the truck and has kept every piece of documentation in a large binder (see photos). The truck stands tall runs well and is a pleasure to drive and haul home car show trophies. In those 20 years they have won over 400 trophies and medals. Definitely a truck you can be proud to take anywhere. The truck is powered by a crate 383 Stroker V8 bored out to push 440 horses with power transferred through a 400 transmission. It has power steering power brakes and front disc brakes. It also features upgraded 3-inch exhaust with Flowmasters chrome tailpipes a Holley carb and intake and a tastefully hidden CD deck in the glove box. When restoring the car no glass was used - it is all steel. The owner chose a 1997 Corvette color called Hawaiian Orchid and had it professionally applied with six coats of paint and six coats of clear. You can tell in the shinny finish. He also hired out four different painters over the years to add the finishing pinstripe touches. This truck is a show stopper literally. It is a gorgeous example of the final Series 1 model and has been treated like a first born son. The only reason it is now on the market is because the owner is experiencing health issues and can no longer drive it. Call or e-mail if interested or to make a reasonable offer. Thank you for looking.
