Car description |
---|
Fuel injected 350 5.7L with overdrive. The engine runs smooth strong and very quiet. The 350 has plenty of power. No smoke or problems. Inside is open cargo, completely sound/heat insulated inside and underside and is ready for interior.
The Wheels are refinished nicer than new. The set is 15x8.5, highspeed CNC machined finish and powdercoated turbine wheels and new Cooper Cobra Tires (still have the nubbies on them). They include the wheels original metal caps. I would sell the van for less with steel original wheels and you can put your own style on it.
Recent new parts: new battery, starter, tune up new alternator, catalytic converters, radiator, hoses, thermostat, water pump.
It has some things I yet to do: Driver side headlight trim, the door key was is lost. I had to remove the door lock cylinder,. Driver side mirror glass has a crack, A/C is not cold, Inside driver door handle does not work, windshield is cracked, speedometer gear is stripped - it was going out when I bought it, the steering has some play in it. There are dings and dents - see pics. Over all it has always started and run excellent, accelerates quick, shifts with no problems, stops strong, and no rust ever. I bought the van to make a A-team replica van. I have only added the flares visor for about to make it look cool and replaced some mechanical parts/tune up to make it reliable and dependable. I have not even had time to enjoy it yet unfortunately. Other things have come up and I am planning on moving in a couple months. The buy it now price includes the pictured pair of custom vintage 1976 seats I had reupholstered for it and a pair of chrome side pipes for it.
There is a local shipper here I trust. They are a little more expensive on average - but the drivers and their equipment is on the higher level.
International sales are welcome.
Thanks for checking out my van. If your interested I have 2 other vans I would consider selling also. the 94 350 G20 chevy work van for $2k, the 79 E100 shorty custom for 8500. both are rust free, excellent mechanical condition and ready to go cross country.
