For Sale: 1957 Chevy Chevrolet Bel Air 210 Model From the owner: I have owned several '57s in the past, so I knew what to look for when buying this project car. It has the typical rust spots, but overall is a perfect candidate for a restoration. I looked for over a year but passed on a dozen other cars because they didn't have a solid foundation to start with. This car has a great frame and an all original drive-train. With sand blasting and a rebuild of the existing components, you will have a nice rolling chassis. With the original paint and nice panel gaps, I'm confident this car was never in an accident. I looked over the frame very well and found no problems either. If you are restoring it back to factory specs, it has a great color combo both inside and out. It has the original drive-train with a 265 V8 3 speed manual (moved from the column to a floor shift Hurst). Everyone always asks, "Why are you selling it?" so I felt I should include that in addition to the description. I have a 1960 Corvette Gasser that has been in my family for over 40 years. I just don't have the time or money to restore them both. There is a photo of the vette, and no it's not for sale. Description: VIN# VB57B109764 Style: 57-1011 / 2 dr sedan Trim: 656 Paint: 810 / India Ivory, Larkspur Blue Motor: TI00IC Title: Clear, ready to go V8 engine Series: 2100 Model: Type 210 Baltimore Wheelbase: 115" In terms of what needs to be done to restore this car: It will require the two front floor pans and two rear floor pans under both the front and back seat. The metal is fine so it would be up to you if you want to put a one piece complete floor or individual pieces. I have one of the front floor pans that you can have with the purchase. The car will need a trunk pan if you don't want to use patches. It needs the rockers on both sides. I have all four original hub caps (pictured in one of the photos) and four stock type rims (also pictured in another photo), all 8 will come with the car. The two front fenders are in great shape except for the lower corners which will need a small patch (I have one available as well). It has a good trunk lid that comes with the car, the original one has rust issues. Both are available. As far as the trim goes, I think I have a few pieces for you that are missing in the photos. I can send those upon request. Front and rear windshields are not cracked, but have typical glue bubbles around the edges. Side glass is all there but is in similar shape to that of the windshields. I have the original radiator, it's out for better pics. It will be included. The front and back seat have been sandblasted and are in great shape, ready to be covered! The frame is in GREAT shape, in fact, it's the one reason that I bought this specific car to restore. The rear quarter panels are in great shape with the exception of a small patch panel that is needed in the front of the back wheels. The car comes with all its gauges and I have an old 8-Track that I will include with it! The car has a few add-on gauges under the dash. I don't know the actual mileage on the engine. It is not currently running, and would need restoration along with the rest of the vehicle. I really wish I could keep this car, but I decided to focus my time and resources onto the vette. Unfortunately, you can't do them all! If I missed something, please feel free to reach out to me, I will do my best to answer all questions as fast as possible. I have more photos if you need to see different angles or close ups, though it may take a day or two to get them. Thank you so much for looking at this car. God bless! See photos for details, and message me with questions. Thanks for your interest. $500 deposit required within 24 hours of the close of the listing. Remainder must be paid in cash, cashier's check, or processed through PayPal at the time of pickup of the vehicle, within 10 days. If you are interested in Freight, it can be arranged by us at the buyers expense and added to the overall price. |
