Car description |

I am reluctantly selling my 1966 Chevelle Malibu. This is a rust free example and by far the nicest body on a 66 Chevelle that I have ever seen and I have owned a dozen or so. It has only received 1 repaint in the rare factory color of Artesian Turquoise(K-K). The interior is Med. Turquoise imitation leather with Dk. Turquoise Rencloth inserted bench seat ( code 775). The biggest paint flaws are just above the rain gutters on both sides. To prove that it was in the paint and not rust, the car was sanded down to bare metal in those spots ( see picture ).
Next, this car has a 283 engine and 2 bbl carb along with a 2-speed automatic powerglide (matching #'s) that it was born with. The engine bay has been recently detailed. Except for routine maintenance and changing the points to a ignitor, the engine is untouched. The came to me 7-8 months ago reading 63k miles, but the odometer did not work. There was another that came with the car, but the speedometer didn't work and it was for a manual transmission. Soooo the car comes with 2 gauge clusters and both need rebuilding ($200). Furthermore, the miles are not verifiable. But by one look you can tell that the 63k miles are not far off from actual. I have the Protecto-plate,owner's manual, original keys and extra set, and a accessory book for Chevelle's from 1966. The aftermarket radio is also in-op, so I just left it out. No Big Deal.
This car has:
Finally, it now has a Mississippi title.....READY?................ HAPPY THANKSGIVING !
