Black with Black interior, L34 396/350hp big block, 4-spd manual transmission. The 1967 Chevelle changed very little from the previous year but had a new reworked bumper and a new blackout tail panel. The drivability factor was improved with the addition of more aggressive tires, front disc brakes, and 14" wheels. A new three-speed automatic joined the ranks of available transmissions. The Malibu continued its reign as the leading seller of the Chevelle and would continue to ...do so throughout the Chevelle's life, because it boasted the highest number of model options with the 4-door sport sedan, 2-door sport coupe, convertible, 4-door sedan, and 2-seat station wagon.Horsepower was down a bit from the previous year on the SS 396 due to the GM rule governing the horsepower allowances for all cars other than the Corvette. Because of this, the L78 was not available, and the L34 dropped to 350hp from 360hp. Although GM did not offer the L78, some dealers installed it and 612 cars included this high-performance engine. This stunning triple-black beauty L34 definitely makes a statement! It has undergone an extensive rotisserie restoration back to its original configuration and features a numbers matching engine, power steering, power disc brakes, blinker tach, console clock (still operational), BFG radial tires and factory rally wheels, trunk mat. It's very correct except for the carburetor and it runs and drives as good as it looks! Simply beautiful!!
