1970 Chevrolet C10 Shortbed TruckBlue/Blue
5.7 liter 350 cubic inch engineAutomatic transmissionAir conditioning
You are viewing a 1970 Chevrolet Pickup that has undergone a topside restoration 4 years ago.The truck starts easily and runs/drives beautifully down the road. The truck rides very tight and is aligned as well which is apparent once you are running down the road..You would not know you were driving a 1970 vehicle with as smooth and wonderfully as this truck rides and drives. The Air conditioning is ice cold and the truck runs at a temperature of 185-190 in the summer. Everywhere you look is another trim or rubber piece that has been replaced. I have photos of the restoration upon request, for all interested serious parties. I also have receipts for work performed. I have a clear title in my name and the truck is insured through Hagerty Classic car insurance. The truck stays inside my insulated 2400 square foot personal garage year round. The underside is very solid as well. There is an area of very slight bubbling at the bottom of the front fender smaller than a dime. There are some slight blemishes here and there, however I would venture to say this is a show quality piece with very little to no work needed unless you are a very, very detailed individual.
All the glass was replaced brand new, trim is in wonderful shape and the paint has been restored to a very high driver quality/show quality paint job. I have recently spent another 1000 dollars upgrading several interior items and replacing some wiring etc which is fairly obvious once you review the photos. The truck has also been converted to 5 lug which offers the new owner a wide array of aftermarket wheel options. The expense for the 5 lug conversion was approximately 1800 dollars.
I will begin with describing the Truck as clearly and concisely as possible to ensure and accurate depiction of the overall quality and money spent on restoring this C10
Late model 5.7 Liter V8 engine
Edelbrock CarburatorPolished Edelbrock Intake manifoldNew Brake Master cylinderFront disc brakes-5 lug conversion all 4 WheelsElectric Fans-Brand new 15" tires on 5 lug Chevrolet Rally wheels with trim rings and center capsBrand new aftermarket Chevrolet comfort grip steering wheel.(Horn works)New Dash padNew gauge cluster bezel with brand new crystal clear lensAM/FM CD player with bluetooth capability-Sony speakersTilt steering column -Light Blue upholstered bench seat
All new light/bulb receptacles for side markers- License plate lights etcNew valve cover gaskets, transmission cover gasket and differential cover gasket were replaced 300 miles ago.All fluids changed- Engine Oil/Transmission/Rear end/Brake Fluid/Radiator fluid.
This is a very high driver quality truck that most would consider on a show-truck level. I am very critical in my assessment of the truck as I want the new owner to receive a truck that exceeded well beyond what my photos and description express.
I will work with any and all serious parties. I will help with shipping if need-be and I can recommend auto-shipping companies I have used in the past. I have been very fortunate in my personal purchases with eBay with vehicles won sight unseen, and when the vehicle arrived at my home the vehicle exceeded well beyond what my expectation was. I believe this truck will do just that.
I will require any and all bidders to have minimum of 10 positive feedback reviews on ebay. I will cancel any and all bids if this is not the case. If you message me prior to bidding with little to no feedback I will work with you.
I require a $1000.00 deposit within 24 hrs of winning the auction. I accept Paypal or cashiers check. Once all funds have cleared for the entire purchase amount of the vehicle, the truck will be released and delivery can take place in person or via auto-shipper. If you are shipping the vehicle I will overnight the signed title via US mail with tracking information as well.
This is an as-is transaction as this is a 47 year old vehicle. However, I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. I am very proud of this truck and I have set a reserve at a number well below what most people sell or hope to sell these shortbed Chevrolet C10s for. This is my personal vehicle so my issue is storage and maintenance as I have just purchased a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and I have 2 other C10s.
Once again please do not waste anyones time if you do not have serious interest, as I am a business owner and I have a family. I will share as much information and assist in any way possible for potential buyers.
Thank you and good luck!
