Up for sale is a 1960 Impala Belair Sports Coupe or Bubbletop. The car was originally from Alabama with 348 tripower with automatic transmission and the car was originally red with red interior. Second owner. Car is stored indoors. It's is equipped with a 1963 409/425 hp engine which was professionally rebuilt in 2015. Motor has under 1000 miles. Transmission is m21 Muncie 4 speed with reverse lockout. Aluminum. Full roller camshaft, new handmade venolia pistons, hand filed rings, original 409 crank, high flow water and oil pumps. Manley rods. It has Edelbrock Aluminum heads, intake and 500cfm carbs. Flame thrower3 distributor and coil with 45 thunderbolt cables. Wheels are 18" Ridler on Nitto tires like new. The new intake which was only put on a month ago leaks a small amount of oil in the rear of the intake so it will need to be pulled off and reinstalled with new gaskets. The guy that installed the intake didn't use enough sealant on the rear so like I said it leaks a very small amount. Just including every flaw. Car can be driven regardless. The rear end is original but has 411 posi. All original body panels. Paint is around 35 years old so it is not perfect. It has a fiberglass hood but the original hood will go with the purchase. It has two small door dings in right door from a car show a few years back. :( Only rust on the car is in front of both rear wheel wells and its minor. Included pictures. All around the car is very solid but with any old car it still needs some work done. I'm relocating and have to sell some toys.
