Car description |

Very nice 1982 Chevy K5 Blazer. This has been my daily driver for about 4 years and is a great and solid vehicle. Pictures will speak for themselves and feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions.
Drive train - Professionally overhauled about 3 years ago. 5.0L with mild cam, headers, intake. Upgraded to GM TBI fuel injection with a Howell fuel injection kit. Upgraded to GM 700R4 overdrive transmission. Exhaust is a single 3" with Flowmaster BigBlock muffler. Nice sound, not too loud. Custom tubular engine crossover by Offroad Designs. Ditched the terrible GM v-belt system and upgraded to a full serpentine belt kit from GM Performance Parts. All new power steering pump, AC compressor, Alternator and water pump. Cooling is handled by a factory diesel radiator with dual Flex-a-lite fans.
Body - Straight and clean, no major flaws for a vehicle this age but plenty of normal dents and dings of a daily driver. Some hail damage to hood only. Top was removed regularly and left off most summer months. It has normal wear for the age and use. Fender liners, core support and engine support were professionally powder-coated about 3 years ago. Never mud bogged or off roaded while I owned it. Better than 90% of what you see on the road.
Interior - No surprises everything works right. AC is ice cold and was 100% overhauled during my rebuild. Dash is a new GM restoration piece. Side windows are manual, vent windows do not open. Rear window is slow but always works. Because I left the top off almost all the time I chose to install no radio, dash has not been hacked up, and factory filler plate is installed.
Suspension - Completely stock, this is the area that I spent the least amount of money on. Springs are original I think and kind of weak. Rides fine, goes down the road straight, doesn't wear tires. Tires are older, plenty of tread. Will include Offload Designs rear shock relocator kit in box. Rear driver shock mount is broken at frame.
I have done my best to describe my Blazer accurately. I want you to get exactly what you are looking for. ASK QUESTIONS! Title is clear/clean and in-hand. Vehicle is for sale locally and auction may end at any time. This vehicle is for sale in Lubbock, Texas and pickup or delivery is up to you. Test drives / inspections need to be made prior bidding. I will help any way I can within reason.
