This car is was planned as the last of convertibles GM would make under the Chevrolet brand. Government regulations put American producers in a position where they had decided to discontinue the popular "drop top" designs that had always been a big part of motoring in the US.

This particular car has had a good life and is still fun to drive down the highway and take in the sights, sounds and smells of country driving.
