Ok... before you go judging this beauty by her cover, give her a second look. I know the awesome camo paint job is kind of hard on the eyes, but if you look at the bones of this truck you will see she's really worth checking out.
She's 1 of only 4,935 made in 1969. So if you're going to buy and restore a blazer, buy a 1969. Production numbers jumped to over 44,000 by 1972.
Overall the body is pretty solid. The front floor pans have surface rust but no rust through. The rear cargo floor pans are solid. The rockers are solid, the wheels wells are solid with no rust though however there is some putty in the passenger rear quarter where some rust started and was filled at sometime. The single wall top is in excellent shape considering its age. The fiberglass is good with no cracks and the rear hatch has all of its hardware except one hatch arm/lock. I will try to find one before it sells but no guarantees. The rocker boxes are solid as well. She came in to our shop after sitting for a LOOOONNNNGGG time. With a little love she is back on her feet and running, but she stills a bit more care. The fuel system will need cleaned first thing.
All in all, if someone is looking for a good restoration candidate, this is a great place to start. If our little shop wasn't already buried under a multi-year backlog, I would not let this rig go.
I can take additional pics if needed. Please provide me with an email and I can send more pictures. All I ask of anyone that is interested in bidding on my truck is this:-ask any and all questions prior to the auction ending.-do any inspections prior to bidding and the auction ending.
I am open to phone calls, texts or emails, I prefer a call though. I can be reached anytime from 8 am-9 pm MST. My name is Heather 307.752.6033
I reserve the right to end this auction early as the truck will be listed for sale locally.
