I am Selling this car for my brother-in-law.
TheChevrolet Two-Ten, or210,was the midrange model of Chevrolet's full-sized car from 1953 to 1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (2100) by one digit to capitalize on the 1950s trend toward numerical auto names. The numerical designation '"210"' was also sporadically used in company literature. It replaced the Styleline DeLuxe model.
The '55 model year marks the introduction of a new chassis and the debut of the Chevrolet's legendarysmall blockV8.The Two-Ten buyer was free to choose any powertrain option available.
Chevy's familiar Light Blue and White exterior colors never go out of style, which is a tribute to the quality of the Chevy design. This 210 2-Door Post was treated to a complete Body Off High-quality Restoration, but respected the original design, no chopping, no cutting, no shaving, but plenty of attention paid to things like gaps and finish quality. The doors fit extremely well, the line around the trunk lid is even, and the brightly polished Chrome side trim fits so exactly that it looks like one single piece. Getting a car to look like this also requires a sizable commitment to the chrome shop, and all the bright work is in exceptionally good shape, particularly the California 1-piece bumpers that are so highly sought by builders today. Four Wheel Disc brakes were added along with new Wheel Bearings.
The interior was given a freshening at the same time, working hard to look period-correct and is so much the better for it. Comfortable Grey Tweed upholstery looks like it came from a high-end late model car, yet looks right at home in the totally revamped '55 interior. More custom handiwork shows in the matching door panels, taut headliner, and neatly trimmed carpets. Original gauges are framed by a custom steering wheel on stock steering column, and it respects the original look but adds a smaller rim to make it easier to get comfortable. You'll also find auxiliary gauges tucked under the dash. and if you look at the shifter, you'll see five forward gears, and reverse. There's a CXECIon KDC-589 with Serius XM Bluetooth AM/FM stereo system in the center with amps in the truck.
Under the Hood we have a 350-cubic inch Chevy V8 Bored 0.40" over, Pistons are TRW Turbo pistons 7.5:1 compression Ratio clearance 0.007â€. Carb is a Holley 780 carb, 0.76" Primaries and 0.080" Secondary's. We have World Perfect Products 2.02 heads. Valves are 1.600" Stainless with 140 lb. Pressure. It has been fitted with Crane Pushrods and Summit Roller Rockers. Now for the Big Guy, we have 471 BFS (Blower Drive Service) 14% Overdrive Blower that can generate 10 lbs. of Boost. We have a four-bolt main with Clevite bearings for rods and crank. The Boost gauge is mounted right where you need it in the center of the hood and windshield. Engine is kept Cool using a 4-Core Desert Cooler radiator with cooling fan. The Engine electronics are powered by an MSD Digital 6A with boost controller setup. We also have a 7 quart Moroso Pan and high output oil pump.
The 350 is backed by a Very Nice Richmond 5-speed transmission, so it cruises effortlessly and the 9" 2.75 Limited Slip rear is rugged enough to eliminate breakage fears. Built for the road, the chassis is mostly satin black paint for easy maintenance and short-tube headers feed a custom Flow-Master exhaust system with chrome tips just under the rear bumper. Aluminum wheels look right wearing beefy P240/70R15/100S Performance rear tires and 215/70R15's in the front, which give the car a bit of a muscle car look. This driver also has an upgraded 35 Gal. Gas tank for those long trips.
This car is currently located in Lake Forest Ca. Current mileage on the odometer shows 17,815 miles since restoration. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Questions call - 808-443-7307
