For sale a very nice 1987 Chevrolet El Camino with 78000 miles. This vehicle belonged to my father that passed in 2013. I have maintained this truck and serviced iteven though it hasn't been driven over 50 miles since his passing. I keep driving it down the road and back to keep everything in working order. This truck wasoriginally purchased by a gentleman who kept it in a climate controlled atmosphere while owning it. It was purchased by another gentleman who bought and sold a few trucks here and there who was not a car dealer. My father purchased it from this man in Aynor with 66000 miles on it and only put 12000 miles on truck and also kept it in a closed in climate controlled shop. I hate the idea of selling it but I really want someone who likes these trucks to be able to enjoy it. This truck has had a paint job in which we had done about 5 yrs ago. We paid around2800.00 to paint. The paint on the truck before this was in good shape and probably wouldn't have had it painted until a lady at our service center went to back out of her parking spot beside my dads truck and turned too sharp and her front bumpervery lightly scratched the side of the drivers door. The truck was still driveable and the door still opened and closed properly. It was not a wreck. My dad being the good person he was told the elderly lady not to worry about it that he was ready to have it painted anyway. This truck is all there all original except for the belts and hoses that I replacedwith napa parts. I guarantee you will not find a cleaner El Camino than this. Thanks for your interest.
