Car description |

I'll try to make the description short and sweet.
I started with a rust-free western 1970 Chevelle body. The roof, floor pans, rockers, doors, quarters, deck lid (everything but fenders and hood) are all rust free original GM. The body was media blasted and rotisserie restored to near perfect. The floor pans are painted to the same show quality as the top. All components, i.e. frame, rearend, control arms, hinges, brackets, etc. were powder coated for durability and show. Everything on this car was disassembled and either restored or replaced. The body received multiple layers of various primers to ensure paint bonding, flattening of any slight imperfections, and the best paint possible. The stripes were then laid out and shot with 2016 Ford metallic black. The stripes were then reversed taped and the body was shot with a more modern rendition of Cortez Silver that carries the color well in all type of light with more metallic than original. Upon removal of all tape and paint prep complete, the body received multiple layers of clear. The final result was perfect stripes with visible or detectable lines or height difference with the paint, and a perfectly flat, deep, rich paint job. All new glass.
Wheels are custom Billet Specialities 18" front and 19" rears. 305 rear MT ET SS and 275 front radials.
All the stainless and chrome is original GM, except drip moldings. The bumpers were triple show chrome plaited, the stainless professionally messaged and show polished.
The interior is completely new. I wanted the car to resemble factory so I used Legendary door panels, back seat panels, and arm rests. The front seat was originally a bench seat, so we refoamed to to sit more like buckets, then covered it with Ultra Leather, the rear sear also refoamed and covered in Ultra Leather. The headliner, package tray, and sail panels were likewise covered with Ultra Leather. The dash resembles the original SS, but utilizes all Dakota electronics. The Vintage Air controls are located where the original controls were. The A/C blows cold. The car was originally a 4spd car, so instead of changing out the column or bench for buckets, we added a push button shifter for the 4L80E held within a small LED lighted cupholder. The carpet is new style plush with all bound seams and 2 layers of DynaMat below the carpet insulation...very quiet and comfortable inside!
The drivtrain is high dollar everything. The engine is a Wegner Motorsports 750hp 416 LS. It has aftermarket block and heads, Callies crank and rods, Whipple 2.9 intercooled charger and more. Holley Dominator control system. Customer fuel tank with 2 fuels pumps (2nd one is boost triggered). The transmission is a Proformance 4L80E with custom lockup converter. PST driveshaft. Built 12 bolt with 35 spline axles, locking diff, etc. Complete polished stainless exhaust system with turnouts and Xpipe. Boxed control arms. Front tubular control arms. Front and rear double adjustable coilovers. F41 factory swaybars with Energy Suspension ends and bushings. Griffin custom radiator with dual fans. Vintage Air. LOTS MORE! I have over $125k in this during the last 24 months. It has been to 3 shows receiving 2 best of shows, class winner, people's choice, and other awards. The car drives super nice and runs very well. It cruises at 65-70 at less than 3k and gets 18-22+mpg.

I posted a short YouTube video for another look: Ebay won't let me post a link, so go to YouTube and type in the search "1970 lssc chevellel" (just like that with the "l" on the end).
