Car description |

1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 - Real SS 396 - Has 396 in the El Camino but not the original 396. Motor turns over freely and will need odds and ends to get it up and running, been in a dry storage for many years. Does have the Turbo 400 connected to the 396 and the torque converter is there too.
The Original color is Hugger Orange, paint code 72. In 1969 if you ordered a Daytona Yellow or Hugger Orange Chevelle or El Camino it was a SS option and made those color combinations a real SS. The body looks to be pretty straight and also pretty solid just has surface rust in places but over all a pretty solid Arizona El Camino. Floors and bed look to be in good shape too. It also looks like parts of the El Camino still has it's original Hugger Orange paint.
The Black interior is in fair original shape. It is missing the seat. Has it's original tach and gauges along with the clock. Has it's original radio and all the SS emblems on the dash and door panels.
The El Camino has it's 12 bolt rear end, along with power front disc brakes and power steering. Has it's original SS 396 hubcaps. Still has it's original cowl tag on the cowl.
All the glass around the El Camino is in good shape.
Comes with extra stainless that goes with the El Camino and other parts like the carb. You can see most of this in the detailed posted pictures, also the condition of the El Camino.
