This is a NO RESERVE listing. The truck will sell on eBay, so please decide your highest bid, and place it here. I will not sell it off the eBay site. High bidder here will own it. Please pay by Paypal within 48 hours of listing close unless you contact me first to arrange something else. Non paying bidders will be reported.
The truck was a pasture find. It has a great gently weathered patina. It has sat since the 1980s. It will need totally rebuilt mechanically, along with major body work.
The body is pretty straight and workable for a truck that isover 50 years old. It has been repainted navy blue over the original teal frost metallic. It has lots of rust in the cab floor. There is now a full drop in floor pan available now for around $800. The cab will need to be removed from the frame to do this. It will also need the rockers and cab corners replaced. The door corners have rust. The front fender is dented on the driver's side and really should be replaced. The inner fenders and core support have rust. Those are available new also. The frame is in nice straight rustfree condition. The rear lower control arms are rusted out and need replaced.
The bed is very good. It has a smooth dent in the driver's rear corner but is otherwise very straight. Of course the bed wood needs replaced.
This has all of the deluxe side trim intact.
The cab roof has rust above the windshield in the inner stamping, but the outer stamping is fine. The doors open and shut nice. The hood has small rust holes but is not a crusty rot box. The windshield and all glass is good. The interior is complete and unmolested aside from the radio hole. It has had critters inside, so expect that all the wiring needs replaced. This has the full gauge cluster, not the idiot lights. The actual mileage is unknown.
I am out of room and want to sell this to someone who will get it going again. It has a lot of things going for it.It has fantastic patina and lots of aftermarket parts available for it.
I am a car guy just like you, so I want to do right by you. I have described the truck to the best of my knowledge. It is a roughold truck, in project condition, so it is sold as is. If your are local you are welcome to inspect it. I will answer any questions you have. There is space for more photos so if you want to see more I can post them.
It now has a matching set of correct 1960-68 6 lug rims since these pictures were taken. If you pick it up and bring your own 6 lug rollers, I will credit you back $150. If you want a correct 6 cylinder and 3 speed trans, I have a rebuilt one available separately. I also have a 1973-87 5 lug disc brake front crossmember available.
I can possibly deliver the truck if you need help. I took a Studebaker to Ft Worth last week for $500. Contact me for details.
