Car description |
---|
Very nice solid running and driving 1963 Chevy Impala. The car has a V8 motor which I believe is the original 283 and automatic transmission. It has a nice set of tires and runs and drives good. Headlights work, tail lights/brake lights work, turn signals will work but you need to hold in position. Dash light works but is dim. Wipers work and brakes are good as well.
Body
Floor, frame, trunk and rockers are all super solid. Car does not need any metal work in these areas, it's absolutely solid. It has had some work done to lower doors and quarters but nothing major. Paint has some checks but is ok. There are no major dents on the body. There is a little bit of rust on the lower rear quarters but nothing major. All trim is there and in good shape as well as bumpers.
Interior
Needs some work but is in decent shape. Will need kick panels, door panels, carpet and is missing the original radio. It has a power bench seat. All glass is there but the windshield has a crack.
Car was satin silver which is a real nice combination with the red interior. It was built in Los Angeles. It spent a majority of its time out west where it was repainted before it came to the Midwest. Car needs a few odds and ends but is a nice driver. I have a clear Illinois title in my name. I have done my best to give all details on the car but I'm sure there are some things that I have missed. Please feel free to contact me and inspect the car in person. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me as well and I'd be happy to give you more info. There is a $500 deposit required in 48 hours after vehicle purchase. Buyer is responsible for pick up and delivery. I have the right to end auction/sale early as the car is for sale locally as well. Please only submit offers if you are serious. Thank you
