Car description |

Runs and drives well. I daily drive it at the moment. I can cruise at 70+ MPH. I'm usually cruising at 60 with town driving and I've been getting 24 MPG.It's a 20' car. The paint has some dust in it and there is some filler on the body. There is a patch on the drivers side floor. There is a little rust on the inner side of the doors and one inner rear wheel well. One front brake is not working very well. Front seats need to be recovered, they have some awful covers on them right now. The rear seat is in good shape.
It started life out at a 500 model with A/C, 4 speed, 110hp engine. The A/C blower and unit are still in the trunk.
It now has an early model 80 something hp engine with matching heads and a 4 speed. It doesn't leak or burn oil. It's a strong engine.A Monza interior with a fold down rear seat has been swapped in.
Tires are older but in good shape.
All the lights work. Speedo quit before I had it and the gas gauge recently stopped working.Radio works but the back light does not. Sometimes the dash lights flicker.
The body has 125,000ish miles and the engine has less than 10,000.
This is a great driver quality Corvair.
Cutlass wheels. The buyer has to arrange the shipping. I will drive it on the hauler and help however I can. Pick it up and drive it home if you want to. Message me if you have any questions. I have a video of the car running.
