Up for NO RESERVEauction is:1965El Camino with 350 v-8, turbo 350 transmission, power steering, and power disc brakes! The engine appears to be an early 70's v-8, I have not run the numbers, so not sure, but it has a stock4 bbl intake, an Edlebroc 600 cfm carburetor, new alternator, new water pump, new fuel pump,HEI distributor, new ignition wires, long tube headers, new exhaust pipes with new glass pack mufflers, new high torque Minnie starter, new aluminum radiator, flex fanand a few chrome accessories on it. Engine sounds good.Transmission is a "long tail" 350 turbo hydromatic, fresh fluid, new hard lines.Rear axle is an open 10 bolt, unknown gears.Interior has new carpet, new door panels, new bucketseats, seat belts, headliner, andnew floor shifter, custom steering wheel, and new turn signal switch, new ignition switch and keys. Dash isnot cut and still has the original AM radio.floor pans have been replaced with factory style stampings welded in, seam sealed, and coated with truck bed liner on top/undercoating on bottomto prevent corrosion in the future . Front windshield is new.Bed of truck is solid, a few dents here and there, nothing major.Smuggler's box had one small rusty spot (apple size)that has been treated to prevent further damage. inner/outer rockers/frame look very good!Front brakes have been converted to power disc brakes,(dual circuit for safety)new soft lines, new rotors, new pads, new master cylinder, new hard brake line from front to back, new soft line to rear axle, new wheel cylinders, and new brake shoes. new steering rag joint, steering feels tight for what it is.Truck has IROC Z wheels with new tires, less than 2 miles on them currently. The body looks to be in good shape for its age, doors/hood operate as they should,it has some scratches, minorimperfections etc. It was originally beig, now white. It is over 50 years old.The Texaslicense plate on it is from 1977, so its apparently been sitting a while! If memory serves, its showing about 44k miles, no idea if its accurate or not,It was a project that's been passed around, and is now a running and driving truck again. It would make a great "Saturday night cruiser", Home depot hauler, or shop truck, its not a show car, but presentable. The truck has only been driven a short distance since being brought back to life, It will still need some finishing/adjusting as anything would after being put back on the road after many years of sitting. This is not a new Toyota! The carb came off a 5.0 v8 and is not tuned for the 350 yet. The cooling system has plain water in it, I would suggest installing some under dash gauges before driving long distances, I don't trust "idiot lights", especially 50 year old ones! You are welcome to ask questions or set up a time to come see the truck, I will do my best to accommodate you . You are bidding to own the truck, therefore, the deposit of $500 is not refundable and is due at the end of the auction, so please, only bid what you can, and will pay for the truck. It is being sold as is, no warranty of any kind. Title in hand. buyer pays anypay pal fees over the deposit if buyer chooses to pay full balance with pay pal.Happy bidding and good luck!
