Car description |

1976 Chevrolet G20 Sport Van. 350 with a 3 on the tree. Starts and runs. I haven't driven it around very much because it's running open headers (LOUD). But I have new 70" Patriot side pipes in the box.
I bought this on eBay awhile back. The seller was too busy writing a clever ad, that he failed to mention the issues I had to immediately address. The van did not start without a shot of starter fluid.. and it would not stay running. It wasn't getting any fuel from the tank.I rebuilt the Edelbrock carb, installed a new fuel sending unit, new mech fuel pump, new rubber lines from tank and new battery cables. She starts up fine and runs. But again, it's very LOUD.
Van has only a little bit of rust. A few small spots on the drip rail and a couple very small spots at the wheel openings. Poor prep work and a light coat of bondo show paint peeling on the drivers side. Aside from a dent in the rear door and a little damage at the drivers tail light, the body is super straight otherwise. The floors and rockers are dry and solid. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's a solid van. There's nothing hiding the floors, so you can see their condition. Same for the inner body panels. Doors are solid with no rot at all and open and close fine. The keys I have do not lock or unlock the doors. There are a couple later model seats with 1 bolt holding each down. The ignition cylinder is currently hanging under the dash, but I have a new one in the box. There's an AC compressor on the engine and an overhead style unit above the rear doors. I have no idea if either are in working condition.
The van has nice, old slot 5 lug mags with old cracked tires that hold air fine. Pop up sun roof. Old school overhead panel with 80s GM cassette deck and equalizer. Custom tube grille with bezels. Pop out side windows as well. And an era correct spoiler.
All in all, this is a very SOLID van, with a strong motor. Would make a cool cruiser for someone.
If you have any questions, please give me a call at 813-666-9033. The van is located in St Petersburg, Florida.
I have a Florida title in hand, in my name. I can hold onto the van and adjust my schedule to work with your transporter.
Thanks for looking.
