Beautiful 70 SS454A few minor paint blemishes - overall a super nice driver that could be show quality paint with a little detail. I have a pint of the correct red that will go with the car for any touchup or repairs that the next owner might wish to handle.
Under hood is super fresh and clean - everything works. Photos show an aluminum intake and chrome valve covers - the original LS5 intake and valve covers have been reinstalled.
THis car has its original LS5 454 engine with the correct Monte LS5 "CRN suffix code" the vin is also there - this car has its "BORN WITH" engine - will send photos of engine stamp to serious buyers but its legit.
Original everything throughout is either on the car or comes with -i.e. original heads are not currently on the car but they come with and are in excellent shape (need to be reassembled) Rear end has a 3.55posi, but the original 2.56 and 2 series posi come with. Previous owner installed flat tops when the motor was rebuilt, to get some compression into it - i put a set of closed chamber 396 heads and installed the LS6 solid flat tappet cam and recalibrated the qjet - the car runs fabulous, starts up beautifully in the hot or cold, (choke works) it has wonderful street manners, runs cool even in summer traffic and the AC blows cold - fresh R12 charge. Would not hesitate to drive anywhere. Car has a 3000rpm converter that is not sloppy or slushy around town but flashes to 3000 rpm to make best use of the cams power curve.
Original distributor has been recurved but still operates with points - also has its original coil.
original 15" YH code Rally wheels on the car with Goodyear F70x15 redlines.
Factory AM-FM 8track, clock works, guages work, smooth powersteering.
Suspensionhas been rebuilt, and full brake system rebuild with new "inline tube" stainless brake lines, has reproduction master on it - but comes with an original oval (with bleeder) Master. Original (replated) booster is on the car. Has original air cleaner, and a duplicate spare that was modded for more air intake to let the LS6 cam breathe a bit better.
This really is a wonderful driving and quick BIG car -
