Car description |
---|
Hoping to find a good home for my Impala Wagon. I bought it several years back and have had this work done :New TiresNew Shocks / Air Shocks on rearBrakesNew Edelbrock CarbTune UpTransmission sealsStereo and Amplifier
The car is clean and solid with the original paint This car was stored and has no rust on the undercarriage, The body is absolutely soli, with no rust.
There is some pin-head surface / scratchrust starting on the finis, the type that would buff out.Rear power window is not working, but can be opened by hand. There is a piece of trim missing from the right rear wheel well. The air conditioner is not working, but it's all there ( except for the belt )The wheel covers pictured have been removed and are not included. Original stock rims are in great condition.
Otherwise the car runs great and rides ultra-smooth. There is a heavy duty towing rig attached at the rear. Tow-Ready with plug for trailer lights. This thing is a tank and weighs 5001 lbs.Its got a ton of power with the 400 engine, and seems to get about 15 MPG or so,more on the highwa, of course.
I can't afford to put anymore into the car financially, and hope to see this beauty find a good home.I will be posting more photos over the weekend.
GOOD LUCK !!!

I don't have a lift available, but I climbed under the car and took some photos, best I could.I would say that the car is 99 % RUST FREE.I see plenty of the original undercoating, and the parts without just have that surface rust glaze, nothing has eaten into any of the frame our undercarriage. The interior floorboards also have no rust, as a matter of fact they still have the factory paint that looks new.The carpets have seen better days in the typical wear-zones.Seats are in great condition, no spring sag anywhere. The dash is cracked in places, with small hole near speakers from storage years.I am honest in my listings always, and must point out that this wagon is very solid. I saw a few small rust holes and have provided photos. They are no bigger than a quarter-dollar, and I found two.As you can see from the photos, the wheel wells are also rust free.
Here's some more things that have been done to the wagon :
New AlternatorNew Interstate BatteryNew ThermostatNew Master Cylinder ( Brakes )New Front and Rear Brake HosesNew rear axle steel lines ( Brakes )

This is a very solid vehicle mechanically, undercarriage, and body-wise. As mentioned and shown in photos, it could use a nice paint job, as well as some interior attention. I spent close to 5000 dollars into this Chevy to revive it and make it road-worthy after it's decades-long rest in the barn, and I am not currently able to invest any more. I am ready to take the los, must sell, and have made the reserve less than the original price on the sticker from 1975 in the photos.
