Please feel free to contact me for any questions or updates that I may about this auction. I HAVE A PRETTY LOW RESERVE ON THIS. I have about 100 pictures of this, and I will gladly text or email as many as you need. I want people to bid with confidence, and I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability. I can be reached at 314-397-7278 or email at mjohns63114@gmail.com and I would prefer a phone call first so I can see if you are legit or weed out the scammers.
This 1959 Chevy El Camino is the first year of production, has had a ton of metal work done to it, but it is still a PROJECT. Frame looks good, small block engine is currently not running but I was told it is a running engine. It needs a carburetor, exhaust manifolds or headers, and other misc. This has a automatic transmission, and drive shaft in it. I do not have the molding or tail lights, but they are pretty easily obtained aftermarket. The suicide doors have the hinges done but may need the latches completed. I believe the glass is in nice shape but I will double check. This is supposed to be a Ford 9" rear end, unknown gear ratio, has 4 link, and front disc brakes. This was tubbed about 2 or 3 years ago and had developed some surface rust on the new metal. There is some bodywork needed on the right lower bedside, and a little rust in the hood.
I prefer people to come see this for themselves, but please contact me for pics. This has a clear Missouri title. I am listing this on many sites, and reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. I want cash money or pay pal. I will not do checks or money orders. I will assist any buyer with shipping in whatever ways I can, but I will be paid up front, and buyer pays any and all costs. I am easy to work with and easy to get to. As long as you communicate with me I will try and work with you. I can store this for a few days or a little longer if you need it. It already has at least $5000 worth of work done to it. I am 5 minutes from Lambert Airport in St. Louis, MO 63114. Feel free to call me at 3143977278. I reserve the right to end this auction early for local sale.
