1955 Chevy Truck 3100 1st series 5 window Original

Up for auction is my 1955 Chevy Truck 1/2 ton. This truck was found in the Santa Cruz mountains where it was stored inside for many years. Has not been on the road since the 80's so there is no title or DMV record in California for this truck. Truck comes with correct 1955 vin plate.
This truck is a runner but still needs some work and registration to be ready for the road. It fires right up and i move it around the property from time to time. Has a Mr gasket floor shifter currently but not recommended for a permanent setup. I have all the parts for a 3 on the tree. IT also has a new fuel tank installed behind the seat in factory location.
Drive Train- 1954 Chevy Truck 235 that fires right up and sounds good. No smoke, or unusual noises. It does leak some oil but il include new gaskets for valve cover, pushrod cover, and oil pan gasket. Engine has a tuneup-new plugs, points, coil, spark plug cables. I also installed a new water pump. Has a 3 speed manual transmission with a mr gasket floor shifter just to move the truck around for now. 1955 was the first year these trucks came with an open drive line.
Brakes- New wheel cylinders, shoes, and rebuilt master cylinder. has 4 wheel drum brakes
Suspension- Stock nothing modified. Leaf spring suspension front and back.
Frame- Stock, Straight and rust free. Factory spare tire under bed carrier
Electrical- Only the ignition system is wired in with an alternator conversion and brand new Duralast gold battery with warranty. Stomp starter pedal is in working condition.
Body- This is a 99% rust free truck with only a small hole on driver side toe board. Has most of its original paint still on it so there is no bondo or hidden repairs on the metal. Truck has solid floors, solid cab corners, clean uncut dash, rust free doors, rust free window channels, rust free and very straight running boards, rust free fenders and cab belt line. Truck need finish spot welding and fitting on theright sidecowl panel. Front clip was taken apart for this repair but is now secured for transportation.
I also have most parts for the truck 98% complete, only missing back window, door glass and rear bumper brackets. All that can be purchased inexpensively from many suppliers.If its not in the pictures it doesn't mean truck doesn't have it.
If you looking for a truck to fully restore i also have the original engine and transmission completely disassembled.
