The bubble top was only offered in 1961 making this car highly sought after. This car is believed to have come from Pennsylvania where it stayed for a while and then made its way to Michigan and received a restoration and was given a different engine and transmission. A healthy 355 was built with flat top pistons new Edelbrock 650 carburetor... and a performer aluminum intake. The block is painted and presents well. It has Corvette valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. The engine is paired with a M21 Muncie 4 speed. The cars runs and handles as it should and it breathes through dual exhaust. The Impala features disc brakes in the front with a dual master cylinder with a proportioning valve. According to the owner there is a fluid damper. The exterior is dressed in white over a white and grey interior with a bench seat in the front and a bench seat in the rear. The car rides on 1982 Corvette collector wheels that are 8x15.
