Car description |
---|
ThisGMC was bought froma farm up in Manitoba, Canada so it has a few interesting differences compared to the more common US examples. Firstly it is badged as a 9310 rather than a 100 which is also indicated on the Title, the reason for this is unknown to me. Also it has its original motor which is a Chevrolet 6 cylinder as Canadian GMC's came with Chevrolet motors rather than the US specification GMC motor. This is a complete all original truck but does not run and requires restoration.
The body has rust but I have seen many far worse Apache's. There is rust in the usual areas on the fenders and cab corners. The drivers side door skin has parted from the door frame along the bottom and the lower hinge is broken. The floorboards do have rust but are remarkably good for one of these and not as bad as you would expect. There is also some rust in the lower part of the tailgate but the GMC lettering is still in nice shape. All of the emblems are present and in nice condition. The wooden bed floor has rotted away. The roof above the windshield is remarkably solid and not rusted through. Overall a very restorable truck, everything required is remanufactured and readily available.
The interior is complete and original. It's in decent condition considering it has been neglected for years.
The tires all hold air and it rolls freely making it easy to load onto a trailer and move around.

who we are and what we do
We are two brothersthat seek out original trucks and cars fromall acrossCanada specializing in vehicles from the 40s, 50s and 60s.
We started heading North to source these vehicles several years ago due to the severe lack of such vehicles in the US in recent times due to our huge car culture. Most American barn finds have long been found and tampered with by several owners yet North of the border there still seems to be an abundance of good solid original vehicles waiting to be brought back to life.
We make these great vehicles available to the US market by importing them into the US and providing all required paperwork to acquire a Clear US Title in your own name in your home State.
We also specialize insourcing Mercuryand Fargo trucks and have successfully imported and found new homes for dozens of fine original examples.
We are passionate about finding the best thatthere is and understand that our customers want to see automobiles that have not been tampered with; the more original, the better.
Our inventory is regularly updated, as new finds are unearthed. If there is something specific that you are looking for, then let us know and we'd be happy to see if we can help.
The business we conduct is straightforward and honest. Whether you're looking for something that'sall original, a starting point for a restoration project orsolid bones for a custom build, Bison Brothers will deliver.
