Car description |

1961 Apache C10 Short bed stepside, Original 283 with 12v generator, 4 speed manual. Has the 62-66 hood and the 64-66 grill. 56 Bel Air Stainless caps on Superior wheels. Side door glass and back window are all nice, front windshield has a 6 inch crack. Truck has the usual rust in the sills, door bottoms and lower fenders but most of the floor pans are still pretty good. Passenger side door latch not working. Turquoise enamel paint (not original paint). Original bench seat has a 10 inch circular tear with some foam pad missing. Original gauge package in instrument cluster is a nice bonus. Odometer reads 61000+. Ready for a new bed or ready for you to lower. Torsion bar suspension front, coils rear. Nice patina all around.
Truck is currently registered as a WASHINGTON STATEantique/collector vehicle, I have clear title in hand. Last registration before I purchased it was in the late 80's. Recently installed a new Speedway Motors HEI Style distributor, new wires, new fuel pump and an old spare 2bl Rochester from a 65 I had in my shop. Engine starts but will need a new carb or a rebuild on this one. For the truck to be drivable, it will also need a radiator (someone removed it before I got it), will need a clutch/brake master cylinder, brakes, tires and a few other things here and there. I have already purchased new front brake slave cylinders.
No apparent accidents. Hood has a couple of dings on top.
These trucks are easy and fun to work on and parts for them are very affordable. It has been a fun summer project, ready for you to finish.
This is a NO RESERVE auction. Truck is in as-is condition with no warranty expressed or implied. Please be sure to look at all of the pictures provided.
Short bed V8Chevy trucks of this vintageare getting hard to find! This will make a great shop truck for someone when finished. Thanks for the look!
