Up for sale here I have my disassembled 1949 Chevrolet 3100 half ton short bed project truck with clear Ks title that matches the serial number plate. Its sitting on a correct wheelbase 118" S10 chassis. As you can see its just sitting on the frame and not bolted down. You'll either have to fabricate your own body mounts or buy them from one of a couple very good manufacturers like Code 504 out of Nebraska. The cab of the truck has some of the common rust that these trucks get like cab corners, lower cowl, kick panels, and front floor rust. The truck is not all full of body filler. The front floors have been roughly patched with street signs. The hood brace and the bottoms of the doors have very minimal rust. The seat riser has been removed to put a modern seat in the truck. There is a new DS cab corner and door hinge rebuild kit included with the truck. The roof has two 70s style teardrop skylights in it. The dash has been cut for a newer style stereo. The bed is pretty straight and solid but it is missing the tailgate. The rear fenders have some bumps and bruises but should be repairable. The front fenders are quite nice. The grille is nice other than the end cut off of one bar. The running boards have next to no rust but do have some bends along the edge. There are quite a few original parts included that aren't pictured like the radiator support, hood latch panel, S10 steering column, drive shaft and many other small parts. Go to 49chevys10.shutterfly.com to view 192 pictures of every inch of the truck. Overall this truck would make a good rat rod, hot rod, Kustom or parts to complete your build. This truck is selling with no reserve and it is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed. Thanks for looking.
