Rare family owned truck stored inside, never driven in winter, rarely driven in rain. This truck is 100% rust free and in impeccable condition for it's age. This truck has not been altered or modified, it is factory original. This truck has been well maintained. Truck has tires, Michelin LTX, with very few miles. The truck runs and drives perfectly and has working AC. This nearly 30 year old truck does have three minor maintenance items that will eventually have to be dealt with. First, the factory original muffler has a leak. Its not loud, but will need replacement. Second, the valve stem seals in this Chevy V8 were notorious for deteriorating when not in use. The truck puffs when started after being in storage as the oil that leaked into the combustion chamber is burned. This truck does not burn oil! A $40 set of seals will solve the issue. Third, the factory radio has a short and occasionally does not work. An aftermarket radio is the best solution here. The paint on the truck is factory original with the burgundy paint in excellent condition but the silver is showing signs of 'crazing', another known issue with GM paint of this vintage. The silver paint is still in excellent condition, is not peeling and has not lost it's shine. The color coat under the clear is simply crazed. The head liner has a small bubble forming on the passenger side where the liner has separated from the backing. Another common problem with GM headliners of this age as the glue deteriorates but this is easily repaired. This truck has never been in an accident but the tail gate was replaced after a back-up incident into a tree with the gate down. The gate is the only panel that has been replaced or repaired, it is a GM factory gate replaced when the truck was very new. This truck has a trailer brake control, 7 way round connector and receiver hitch. Aluminum running boards will come with the truck, these are not currently installed.
