This is a 58 impala that I acquired in the past with intentions of restoring it to a high dollar car, but, after back problems and corpal tunnel problems, things have changed and not able to. The widow that I purchased it from said her husband got into a poker game one Saturday night in Jackson, Ms. and won it in 1960, owned it till the day he died. Sat in her garage 3 years before I got it. The transmission was changed from auto. to standard in floor. The engine runs good. I think it is a 327, not sure, just what I was told. It does have some rust in pans, don't see any in body. Rocker panels are solid as shown in pictures. The trunk pan needs replacing. The only bad spots in floor pans are where you put feet, no tunnel damage. The car runs and drives fine, with good brakes. I applied and received a Ms. title, first one in it's life. when he won the car, Ms. was not a title state until 1969, and still do not require one for antique autos, just choice. for more info or pictures, call 601-953-4688
