1968 chevrolet belair station wagon from california. This car sat in a storage garage for a long time and was just not used for years. Its all origional including the paint and interior. its got the origional 327 motor with 4 barrel carb from the factory 275 hp its automatic. power back window. ac car ( no compressor or bracket. someone took it off years ago. factory tinted glass. 6 seater. black exterior . blue interior. the car is not rusty underneath. there is rust in the front fenders where leaves and dirt collect on the inside. the floors underneath are excellent. the floors inside are excellent with the exception of the pass side front where the heater core leaked for years. it has some scaley rust but is soled and has no rust through. the carpet has been removed. the headliner is still in place but needs replacing. the bottom of the doors and rockers and lower edges are all excellent. there is a dent in the drivers door from many years ago. i do have the chrome in nos mint form for the tow areas on the car showing missing beltline trim. the car runs and drives although you have do go through a few things like tires are junk. rear whell cylinder on pass rear leakes. coil springs are origional. shocks are old. front end bushings are all origional. carb will need automatic choke system. its origional quadrajet carb. i did points and plugs. wires and distributor and carb rebuild. it fires right up and runs well. dosent smoke. i did valve cover and exhaust gaskets and the inside of the motor is super super clean the motor mounts will need replacing. the car is complete and unmolested. origional paint . no bondo. the paint has a california rust baked black paint patina. i did brush on some clear coat to the paint just to save it. Of course a paint job and you will have a wonderful new car. I just didnt want to get into that yet. one of the tailgate hinges es broken. drivers side. the exhaust is old but still is effective. you wont be driving it home but you could drive it real quick. like i say the tires are junk. the triple gauge package i mounted but never hooked up. its tasteful and nos vintage from the time period so i added it. i do have nos chrome pieces for the ones in the picture where its missing. its the beltline trim drivers door and rear quarterits a belair. not an impala. so it has the two rear taillights. all the chrome is in great shape. its a big beautiful chevrolet. cruise it as is. or paint it for show.
