Trades Considered
1965 Chevy C10 Step side pickup. As you can tell by the pictures this is a total custom, built to look amazing and perform even better. This was a several year build starting with a very good 65 truck from Texas. Every component has been removed and replaced with better. This was a frame off restoration that was finished in 2014. The truck has been driven probably 2000 miles since. The engine is a 4-bolt main 350 that has been stroked to 383 and built to handle up to 1000 HP. The original plan was to install a blower but that plan was scrapped when the horsepower numbers proved that a blower was not needed. This engine makes almost 500 HP, and is tuned to perfection. It is not so radical that it can't be driven on a regular basis, though, it is a very street able and dependable setup. The engine is fed fuel through a Holley Street Avenger Carb and breathes great through the Edelbrock aluminum manifold and Brodix track 1 aluminum cylinder heads, before dumping the gasses into a set of hooker headers. The exhaust is Flowmaster series 44 mufflers and they sound awesome. I had a guy on a Harley recently say to me that he wished his bike sounded that good! The transmission is a Built Turbo 400. Again, the plan was to be pumping up to 1000 HP, so the tranny was built to take it. All of this pushes this truck effortlessly down the road.
The suspension is all new and updated front to back. It is now Ridetech. If you don't know anything about this company, I suggest that you spend some time researching them. Their systems are top of the line in every way. They are so confident in their suspension products that they offer a 1,000,000 mile guarantee. Now that is confidence! This suspension system works incredible in this truck. I cannot express the difference in ride and handling. It is nothing short of amazing. The truck is an absolute joy to drive, simple and effortless.
The sinister black paint on this truck is like a mirror. The body was stripped down to bare metal and any (very little) rust was patched with metal. The floors were in good shape but were replaced with all new steel anyway. The bed is a new MAR-K step side aftermarket bed. It was originally a fleet side and the bed needed to be replaced (it was used like a truck, after all) so an aftermarket new bed seemed like the best way to go. The wood deck in the bed is all new as well.
The interior is very stock looking. Better than stock (Autometer) gages were installed under the dash to keep closer and more accurate tabs on the engines vital signs. The heater was updated with a Vintage Air unit, that works very well. The stereo was updated to a new Kenwood deck, with CD, Bluetooth for connecting your phone, an aux inlet and USB port. The transmission is controlled by a Lokar shifter.

I am mostly looking to sell, but will consider trades as well. Let me know what you have. This is a high end truck, so please no offers unless they are high end as well.
There is a walk around video of this truck running on you tube. If you go to You Tube and type this in the search 1965 Chevy truck Main, it is the first video to pop up.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I can help to arrange shipping, even over-seas.
The state of Maine is a non-title state for a vehicle this old, so is sold with a notarized bill of sale and signed over copy of the current registration. I do NOT have a title for this truck.
