1968 Camaro SS factory big block car. This is not a numbers matching car. however it has a 4 bolt main 396-375hp block with rare aluminum closed chamber 1967 vintage L-88 Corvette heads mated to a Muncie M-21 followed by a 12 bolt with 3. 08 gears. It has a modern GM 4bbl intake with a quadrajet sitting on top. Car has a GM HEI distributor and log manifolds with a stainless steel exhaust system. The car was restored in the early 90's with new GM sheetmetal that includes the following: Quarter panels and outer wheel houses on both sides. both front fenders and inner fenders. and front header panel. Very. very solid car. Both front floorpans were changed too and structurally it is sound but doesn't look great from the bottom cosmetically. Can probably be covered with seam sealer though. I tried to capture it in photos but it didn't turn out. Front bumper is off because I like that look but I do have a front bumper for it and all the hardware to put it on. The rear spoiler is new and have a new GM front spoiler in the box with all the mounting hardware. The car also had a new power steering system installed as well as a new windshield wiper motor. Here's all the following drivetrain specs:Engine block: 396-375 4 bolt main block . 030 over with 11:1 TRW pistons and Fluidampr harmonic balancer with Moroso 7 quart oil panCam: Comp Cam with . 595 lift and 294 duration solid liftersHeads: 1967 L-88 closed chamberIntake and Carb: Modern GM aluminum 4bbl with QuadrajetTransmission: Muncie M-21 with new Hays Borg and Beck style clutch and Lakewood scattershieldRear: GM 12 bolt with 3:08 gearsBrakes : Non-power 4 wheel drum fully rebuilt system. new cables and springs on emergency brake systemWheels: 15x7 GM rallys with BF Goodrich tires less than 50 miles on tiresInterior : Standard Black Fully restored with Tic Tock Tach and console gauges. Radio isn't in but have a New in box GM AM radio for the car. Exterior color: 93 Chrysler Emerald Green. Factory color was British Green which is a Corvette color has paint code Z. The car has been in the family since 1995. There has probably been less than 100 miles put on it since the rebuild. I bought the car then and the paint and body work and drivetrain had been completed. I did the interior work and little odds and ends and made improvements on it during the time I owned it. I sold it to my Dad in 2006 and he has made improvements on it since he has owned it also. It is a very solid car and can be taken to shows if that is what someone wants. It is not a 100 point show car but there really aren't many cars out there that truly are. It is definitely a 8. 5 to 9 out of 10 though. This car has a lot to offer in beauty. fun. and coolness. Any questions feel free to ask and if you want to see the car in person it is located in Southeastern NC. Call 910-233-6562. The car is for sale locally also so I can end the listing early if it sells.
