1976 C10 Chevy Spirit of 76 Commemorative Edition - Straight & Original

Very hard to find Spirit of 76 Edition. From my online research and observation of pictures/posts (very limited info available). nbsp; most Spirit of 76 edition trucks were either blue/white or white /blue two-tone exterior paint. 350 or 454 V8 engines. Most were 4 speed/manual transmissions. Bonanza trim. Interior had medium blue vinyl dash pad. white door panels and sun visors. Spirit of 76 interior door panel emblems. White bench seat with red center stripes and red/blue vinyl weave panels that were unique to this edition. Solid black instrument panels with wood trim Scottsdale trim piece over ash tray and glove box area. Not sure how many still exist. but these trucks are very hard to find. This is an extremely straight and original long bed fleet-side truck. 350 V8 with Muncie 4-speed transmission. Power steering and power brakes. No A/C. Strato white over Hawaiian blue paint. Approx 80% original paint which is thin in spots. on hood/tailgate. etc. Odometer shows 15. 0 miles and previous owner believes that represents 115. 00 miles but not verified. Only area with rust issue is bottom of driver's side front fender (after market patch panel easily sourced). Some small dents (top of cab over rear window and passenger front fender near headlight) but very original truck that is extremely straight and honest. Bed has surface rust on floor but had a bed liner installed for many years and is in remarkably good condition. Dash clock does not work. Temp gauge is inaccurate (may be grounding issue). Has dual gas tanks with locking gas caps. Seat is in pretty bad condition. Seat cover is torn but original (possibly repairable by pro). Has original AM radio (light comes on but no sound). Doors have not been cut for speakers. Tires in great shape. Only original items missing are the original steel wheels/hubcaps. factory gas caps. cigarette lighter. side mirrors and lug wrench. Original jack and tools (minus lug wrench) are still in place under hood. Has aftermarket air cleaner but original is included. Dealer installed heavy duty rear bumper and sliding rear window. All else is pretty much factory stock to include the Spirit of 76 emblems on door panels. Dash good/repairable with only a few hairline cracks. Easy restoration or very presentable daily driver for a fairly rare truck. Just serviced oil/lube/fluids. with new gas/air filters installed. Distributor rebuilt with all new internals. Brakes. hoses and belts all in good condition. All lights/signals work. Runs. shifts. drives and stops great. Truck has valid CA plates/reg through August 2015. This is a used truck. Although very presentable. it has imperfections as would be expected for its age.
