BODY: (when I bought it) Stock. desert/IE truck with very little surface rust on undercarriage (still there so you can see how clean this body is). Looks like it had 1- additional paint job in the past. double wall hardtop. back hatch was cracked up as they all are. Have glove box tag intact. interior paint is STILL original! All floors repaired (with steel not filler!) door channels welded in (so water does not collect. it flows out) Media Blasted. epoxy primed. seam sealed w/3M seam sealer. then full coverage with Raptor Bed-liner. Tub is Totally waterproof and ready for topless fun in any weather condition. Outside: Doors: Media blasted inside out. seam sealed lower pinch. epoxy inside out. inside of doors shot with Raptor as well! They drain perfect. not standing water since pinch/lower door is sealed up. Tailgate. windshield cowl: Media Blasted. epoxy coated. Quarter panels. fenders. & hood: - have not been sanded down to bare metal - they're just sealed with epoxy for now. The metal on those areas is typically too large to media blast without chance of warping. so those parts are not blasted but are easy to sand bare (see pics of driver's side quarter). Hardtop: Haven't touched it. Works fine but I was going to restore it back to perfect one day. Rear Hatch/upper Lift gate: Re-built with epoxy resin. prepped (epoxy primer) and ready. New rear/gate/lift window seal is installed. All internals there. gone through. I also re-built the upper hinges since you can't get them repro. Yes the upper Hatch hinges not have NO PLAY. Check other trucks. they all have play. More hours into the subtle body/tub upgrades than I want to count. All the small dings/dents and imperfections are there to see. nothing to hide - but its straight for a 43yr old. so just prime+block+paint. Body parts are not gapped perfect since I was going to take it all apart and paint it. then gap it when it went back together. Frame and running gear totally solid. More I can't remember I have built SEMA cars/trucks and many other race. street. and show cars - so I do solid work - come see my other cars. I don't have time and/or room to keep going on this Blazer so I hope it finds a new home. It's a blast to drive. full top convertible for summer too.
