1953 Chevy 3100 7.8K miles on rebuilt 216 ci straight 6 engine & transmission. Very solid mechanical and frame condition. No frame rot. Fun, head turning daily driver. Engine tune up: September 16 - It just purrs. Over $9000 Work Completed Since 2013 . Well over $25,000 invested. The truck was purchased to be used a daily driver. It has a great frame, engine, transmission, cab, steering, brakes ... but the previous owner slapped a cheap white paint job over the original forest green finish without doing a frame-off restoration. You can see some signs of rust popping through the paint job. My advice - get this baby now, run it for the summer, bang around in it. It turns heads all day long as you do errands or carry tools. Then, in the future, think about doing either doing a frame off paint job, or just continue to apply a few more band aids.
