I'm listing this 1956 Chevrolet 2dr. post PRO STREET for a dear friend. He passed away recently after bravely fighting cancer for 6 years. This car was his baby and he had nick named her ROSEY. Now I'm helping his wife find a new home for Rosey. The 56 has a solid and straight body with the exception of a few little dings and one small crease above the left rear tire. The floors and trunk are very solid and so are the doors. What I know about the build of this car is it was built in the mid 90's and has a 69 Camaro front clip and a narrowed 9" Ford rear end with a 4 link setup, not sure of the gear ratio. It is powered by a 454 with a 6-71 GMC blower it seems to have a high lift cam but don't know the specs. It has a good sounding exhaust system also. The automatic tranny shifts well and the brakes stop the ole girl just fine. The interior of the car is an older cloth type interior that is very presentable and comfortable. It has a stereo system but haven't used it while driving I would rather listen to the engine and the 3" gilmer belt singing away. I haven't driven this car on the highway or any great distance but I know Mike did and he wasn't afraid to drive her anywhere. With that being said there is NO warranty with this car! What you see is what you get. The car is being stored in my building so if anyone is interested in seeing the car before the auction's end you are welcome to do so, just give me a call @ 317-908-6112 Thanks, Ken
