1957 CHEVROLET BELAIR COMPLETE EMI CONVERTIBLE BODY

You are bidding on a complete EMI 1957 Chevrolet body. EMI manufactured high quality all steel body right here in the USA. EMI specializes in prototypes and other high end vehicles. Although the tooling is still intact no bodies are currently being made. To my knowledge the only bodies available are foreign as far as I know.
This is a complete body with doors, deck lid, fenders, hood, and core support. This body has a smooth firewall and widened rear tubs. The bodies current state is in epoxy primer. What you get:

What is not included and I am not trying to be funny is anything you do not see in the pictures. The body is owned by a friend of mine and he purchased two bodies and built one car. It was enough of a project he decided not to build this car so you have a rare opportunity not only to purchase a high quality American made body but to have a body that is ready right now and ready to ship. This body alone was over $30,000 shipped. It did not include the convertible top, or any of the other parts and trim you see in the pictures. Yes, you can go to Ecklers or one of the other suppliers and purchase a Taiwan body cheaper. If you have ever put together one of those bodies you know the difficultly in making everything fit.
