Car description

This Impala was my wife's fathers. He owned it since new, and it was purchased locally. It has 52,475 miles. I got it from the estate when he passed a few years back. As you can see it is a 4 door post car ( which reminds me of the police cars from the 70's ). The engine is a 250 straight 6 with a 350 turbo trans. My plans were to leave it entirely stock other than to tint the windows and put the small police dog dish caps on it. Plans have changed as my health has declined, and my wife has decided we can sell it. I have done all the mechanical work and now the interior needs finishing. Below is a list of everything that has been done as well as what is included with the car. I have every receipt and just want to break even on what I have put into it.
Engine has been freshened up with:
  • OEM Autoline carburetor
  • new fuel lines with inline fuel filter added
  • Felpro valve cover and lifter cover gaskets
  • New lifters
  • Davis Unified Ignition brass cap/rotor with 50,000 volt coil
  • Davis Unified Ignition ignition control module
  • Crane Cams adjustable vacuum advance kit
  • Belden premium wires
  • Autolite Platinum Plugs
  • 195 degree thermostat and fresh anti-freeze
  • new radiator, radiator cap and upper / lower hoses and clamps
  • new belts
  • 100 amp alternator
  • fuel pump
  • as well as oil, lube, filter, air cleaner and pcv breather
  • PCV valve and hoses
  • 18" flex-a-lite fan
Also under the hood:
  • new ACDelco battery
  • new blower motor
  • new windshield washer pump
  • new firewall boot
Brakes:
  • new brake light switch
  • new booster
  • new master
  • new hard brake lines
  • new calipers and pads
  • new wheel cylinders, hardware kits and shoes
  • front rubber brake lines
  • rear rubber brake lines
Suspension:
  • MOOG front sway bar links
  • MOOG front sway bar bushings
  • MOOG front and rear coil spring isolators
  • MOOG front and rear coil springs
  • 1" rear coil spring spacers ( gets rid or rear droop )
  • Helwig rear sway bar
  • front and rear Monroe Gas-Matic shocks
  • new front wheel bearings
  • new Goodyear Assurance tires
  • front end alignment and inspection
Misc:
  • new trans filter
  • new fuel sending unit in gas tank
  • new gas tank straps
  • new full exhaust system with all new hangers
  • differential fluid changed 80w90 with new gasket
  • new driveshaft universals
  • wiper blades
I also have that comes with the car but has not been installed:
  • new carpet
  • sound deadening self stick sheets from Summit
  • new dash cover
  • new headlights
  • adjustable transmission shift modulator
  • dog dish caps for the rims
As you can see I am a car guy. Not so much at writing so I hope I covered it all. I also have the original owners manual and a Chilton's manual that go with the car. It needs the interior finished including dash top installed, headliner, rear sail panels covered, sound deadening installed and carpet. There is also a small water leak coming from behind the dash that I noticed today when I was taking some more pictures to add. It isn't large, but I wanted to make any prospective buyer aware of it. It is a very safe and roadworthy car. You can drive it home without any worries. MPG is 20.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my auction. The starting price is exactly what I have in this Impala rounded down to the nearest hundred.
