1972 Chevy C10 Cheyenne : This truck has been restored twice in its life time, the sheet metal is excellent, it is rust free and laser straight. one cab corner and one rocker panel were replaced, the rest is original rust free sheet metal.
CPP drop spindles, new rotors, pads, wheel bearings, and front drop coil springs.
12 bolt rear end with new richmond 4:11 posi 3rd member. the truck needed 4:11 gears due to the fact that the rear tires are 32.5 inch in height.
New GM 330 horse crate motor with paper work, less than 500 miles. This is the 290 H.P motor that GM Performance sells, Hotrod magazine did an article on this motor which is why i bought it. GM rates it at 290 with cast intake and and cast iron manifolds and stock carb. Hotrod magazine dynoed the engine at 330 with dual plane intake, headers and after market carb, and HEI ignition. So i set mine up the same with, the only difference being i added MSD 6AL ignition. Mine has powder coated aluminum intake, demon carb. Everything on motor is new, from the carb to the water pump, alternator, belts, hoses, MSD wires and so on.
Brand new headers and $1100 dollars in 2.5 inch aluminized exhaust ran through the frame and back out the rear roll pan in order to tuck it way up under the truck and not be seen.
rear is lowered 6 or 7 inches i cannot remember. Truck does not look slammed because of the height of front and rear tires. The frame is C notched and plated on both sides. New shocks relocated, new adjustable pan hard bar, and custom aluminum rear diff cover.
Some custom metal work i have done to the truck include, widening the wheel tubs to accommodate 12 inch rear wheels. widening the bed tub openings to accommodate the tubs. shortened bed 6.5 inches, added dual rear tail lights and fabricated roll pan with exhaust exits. front bumper was was pulled in closer to body and ends were pie cut and folded in to wrap up tight to fenders and follow body line. I used an earlier 67 or 68 bumper because i did not like the large rectangular turn signals in the later model, cut holes in the face of bumper and mounted small LED turn signals, fabricated sheet metal front spoiler. Fabricated tailgate and mounts. Tail gate latches on inside of bed with a push button seat belt buckle latch. Truck has a 70 hood on it which has emblem on the nose, i had a friend who is good with plastic remove the emblem mounting point from the 72 grill, plastic weld and smooth the area, and repaint the entire grill.
A list of parts that i can remember that are new, grill was bought new before customizing it, grill housing is new, projector head lights, LED turn signals, bumper, mirrors, side marker lights, windshield, dash gauge bezel, rear dual tail lights, everything under the hood, including high torque mini starter, brake booster and master cylinder, headers and dual exhaust, American racing 20x12 and 18x7 torq thrusts, Good year tires, all suspension components listed above, and many more parts and pieces i am sure i forgot about.
Interior Has reupholstered seat, door panels with matching upholstery inserts, dash pad recovered in same material, new gauge cluster as mentioned above, some new knobs, New retro sound head unit, with dual USB and blue tooth, Kicker 6.5 inch coaxials mounted in Kick panels, subwoofer with amp under seat, base control mounted under dash. Large classic style tachometer mounted on dash. After market billet steering wheel wrapped in matching material as seat, and so on. Tight square weave german carpet, like you would see in vintage european cars, laid over sound deadening insulation material. The upholstery used, -what you cannot really see in the photos, is imprinted to look like an antique patina leather. New seat belts and door sills. The door weather stripping i reused because its too annoying to wait for new door weather stripping to wear in.
Some other things to mention, all factory gauges work, dash lights, dome light, wipers, heater, everything works as should, This Cheyenne came from the factory with rear cargo light that still works, factory lightly tinted windows, dealer installed rear slider. The rear wheel tubs and front inner fenders under the hood are painted in exterior color and sanded through in areas to look patina. The color used on the truck is a brownish tan with copper and flake mixed in, it is a single stage and flattener was added to make it an egg shell flat finish. I had intended to sand through in areas to match the patina of wheel tubs but could not do it after the truck was finished. A lot of time was spent on the exterior of this truck. After all metal work was done, the truck was primed and blocked repeatedly until i thought i had it laser straight. After painting the truck i was not satisfied with little imperfections, and i dropped it off with a friend of mine, and him go over the truck again and repaint it. It is laser straight and all body gaps line up perfectly. Doors open and shut nice and smooth. This truck spent a total of 2 years in my shop and various other shops getting worked on.
The mileage on the odometer is 61,101. I assume with the old style odometers that roll over, that it is 161101. I cannot verify that it is actually 61k so i want to list it as myself not knowing wether or not it has rolled over. The odometer does work though.
The truck runs down the road nice and straight, rides beautifully, has lots of power. This is a vehicle i never intended to sell. I am selling now due to financial needs of the business that i own. Please Call Mitch with any questions at 406-270-7585.The truck is located in Kalispell Montana zip code 59901 if you would like to check on shipping.

The sign at the head of the bed does not go with the truck, i will be removing that.(that is why i did not really want to picture it) I was going to paint the interior bed sides but ended up liking the grafitti look so i left them that way, if you wanted to go a little further with truck you could paint the inside of the bed.
