This truck was not conceived as a restoration but a Rat Rod with upgrades and minor imperfections. Complete frame off restoration/build. So many new parts. Only the sheet metal and frame are original, Nearly everything else has been replaced with new parts. Original 1954 frame with a camaro front clip. Rear end from a mid 2000's chevy 1500. 350 is a desirable 010 block. Turbo 350 transmission with overdrive. Black leather seats from a BMW i series. Most of the patina is original some is faked to match. Covered in a satin clear to preserve it's well earned beauty. Amazing hand pinstripping. Custom hand made beautiful bed floor made from pine. Antique Craftsman tool box in the bed houses the battery. Power steering, Power assist front disc brakes. Touch screen in dash stereo with 2 under dash 6x9's. Custom door panels. Brand new black carpet. Anything that was too rusty or questionable or if I didnt have it was replaced with new parts. Rusted cab corners were cut out and replaced. Inner fender wells are brand new and painted satin black to match the firewall and engine bay.
