Car description |
---|
We always try and find the nicest cars we can no matter what they are. This is a perfect example. This car was found by a collector in Houston, Texas that I know. He found it many years ago and it had only 28,000 miles at the time. I have a Car Fax report which has 10 to 15 notations on it for inspection stickers, oil changes, etc., all the way up to the current mileage now.
I have been all over the car and cannot find any evidence that the car has ever been painted. The car fax report states that according to their records it has never had any problems including never any accidents. It is very nice IROC Z to say the least.
The motor is the biggest one available that year and very much resembles the Corvette engine of that year. But, it does NOT have the aluminum heads and a few other items. I found the ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET under the driver's seat. It is the most desirable of all the engines with the BIG 350 engine and the Tuned Port Injection. All these cars were equipped with automatic only. It has a 2:77 Posi with rear disc brakes. The blocks were the same as Corvettes but the heads on the Vette were aluminum and stainless exhaust manifolds. This car will FLY AND corner and stop!!
This is a fantastic car with very low miles and all the goodies you want. Check out the floors! I believe it has the original grey primer on them. I just spent $1,500 on the A/C system replacing basically everything. I have a copy of the receipt for this work that I can send you upon request. I believe the rear tires are new. Please let me know if you have any questions.
I have several really nice pictures of the decals in the engine that appear to me to be original which is extraordinary for a 1989 automobile. This to me also helps to authenticate the 30,000 original miles on the car. I would be glad to also send these to you if you wish.
These cars are on the upswing and his is one of the nicest ones I have seen. It is fully documented and has the factory build sheet.
I always encourage people to fly in and look at the car or have it inspected by someone. DO NOT BUY THE CAR AND EXPECT TO COME IN TO INSPECT IT AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS!
The Third Generation Camaros are QUICKLY becoming more collectable, higher in value and in greater demand. A low mileage, original car such as this will only lead the way!
I WILL ANSWER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING THE CAR. BUT, PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME FOR MY RESERVE. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of your questions or concerns are resolved prior to bidding and not after. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME IN THAT THE CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY.
