Car description |
---|
1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Numbers matching car, original engine block, carb, master cylinder, water pump and a factory A/C car with original compressor under the hood. T tops and windows are solid, no leaks from any of the glass or weather stripping, original glass and windshield. Wheels and tires were swapped out by a previous owner some years ago. Also, at some point in time, probably late 70s or early 80s, someone modified the rear end of the car and removed the chrome bumpers and looks like they had the car outfitted for sidepipes. Title shows that it is a true 1973, so you can either restore it to chrome bumpers or keep it modified for a cool retro look that nobody else has.
At this time, the car is not running, I thought it best to have engine pulled and rebuilt prior to starting it since it is all original and did not want to damage any internals. Car will need someone with the time and space to do a restoration on it, I don't have the time and no longer have garage space to work on the car. I already have another C3 corvette that I am working on and can't devote the time to both.
Don't really want to sell this car since I know I won't find another one this original under the hood but wife says something has to go. Car will make a great father/son project, my 27 yr old has zero interest in any Corvette built prior to a C5. Low reserve on the car, sad to see it go. Good luck, happy bidding.
