Car description

This is a 1969 Chevy C10. One-family owned with 87,814 actual miles. It might have a few more miles than that, as I've been driving it a bit. It is a 6 cyl, 3 speed, has p/s. This truck starts right up, with no smoke. It runs and drives really good. It has a small oil leak. I think it might be the valve cover gasket. In the last month, I have spent over $1000 having a complete brake job, shoes, master-cylinder, wheel cylinders, rubber lines. I replaced the water pump, alternator and heater hoses. Since replacing all of those, the truck seems to be very dependable. The only rust I can find on the truck are the 2 outer rockers, 2 small spots in the passenger door and some in the passenger inner fender (under the battery). This truck is very straight, not all beat up. It does have a dent in the passenger front fender that I believe could be straightened. There is no rust in the fender. The grill shell is dented and the front bumper has a dent. It has a crack in the windshield. The bed floor has no rust and is very straight. The bed does have scratches in the paint. The tailgate is real straight. The interior is in real good condition for the age. The dash pad has no cracks. The bottom of the seat is worn and needs to be replaced. Everything on the truck works, except the radio. It carries approx. 35lbs of oil pressure. The motor sounds real good. The clutch seems to be real good. The shifter shifts extremely good. The paint is good, driver-quality and appears to be 20 - 25 years old. Overall, for the year of the truck, it drives really good. It would make a good shop truck that you wouldn't have to spend a lot of money on to get it running. It would also be a good candidate for making into a shortbed truck. I'm a motivated seller with a low reserve.
