Description
1962 Chevy C10 Custom
I am the second owner. I even have the original license plates from when it was first registered. True barn find. Truck sat since 1978 with a blown head gasket on the original motor. I got it a few years ago and have put a ton of work into it.
Exterior:
Original patina paint, bumper and trim
Only rust on the truck are small spots on the bottom rear of the front fenders
New seam sealer on roof
New mirrors
Wood bed
All lights work
Drivetrain:
454 with headers, edlebrock aluminum intake, Quick Fuel 750 carb, cable conversion on gas pedal. New HEI distributor and plugs/wires.
th400 tranny with cooler
Converted to alternator, new battery
4 core aluminum radiator with electric fans. Keeps the big block nice and cool
Custom one off side pipe exhaust
Lowered with new drop springs and adjustable track bar
New master cylinder and brakes all around
New custom driveline
New wheel bearings
Replaced pinion seal and fluid in rear end.
Interior:
New carpet and pad
New custom upholstered seat
New seat belts
New visors
New door and window seals
Lokar shifter
All gauges and lights work
This is a great truck with lots of power. Would be a cool shop truck or just a fun hot rod. If your concerned about gas mileage or air conditioning, keep looking.
