Up for grabs is my newly completed 1979 Z28 with a 763HP Big Block, Stage 3 (1000hp) 4L80E transmission with Overdrive and transbrake! Strange 9" rear, FiTech EFI
Almost everything on the car is new outside of the body. All components were carefully picked out to handle each other 110% with no corners cut. Keep in mind even if the Camaro itself is not your thing, these parts can transfer into YOUR CLASSIC GM PROJECT with little effort and sell out the rest. The body has NO rust. The complete drivetrain has only 250 miles on it and the motor carries a TWO YEAR UNLIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY!!
The car runs and drives great as is and is VERY STREETABLE unlike a lot of other "street-strip" cars out there that only have 3 speed transmissions, spools etc
Here is an almost complete list of parts-components installed from front to back. Receipts from parts totals alone are upwards of $33-35k, NOT including any labor OR the cost of the car itself...
B&M Super-plate trans cooler
Dillon 4 core aluminum radiator with two 12" SPAL fans
All new steering components, QA1 tubular upper and lower control arms, coil overs and tie rod ends
C5 Corvette spindle and disc conversion
Manual steering box conversion
Race Star 92 black chrome 17" wheels all the way around..
ALL bushings replaced with Energy Suspension poly, body mounts, engine-trans, suspension etc etc
BBC- Built with Dart Sportsman block, SCAT 4340 forged crank and H beam rods, Wiseco forged pistons, ARP2000 rod bolts, Comp Cams hyd roller cam, tie bar lifters, Heads built with all comp cams hardware, Comp pro magnum rockers, melling oil pump,ARP bolts all around,SFI balancer and flexplate, single plane intake, taylor green wireset, edelbrock black air cleaner... engine was dyno'd and have video to show

Controlled by US Shift quick 4 controller which is FULLY PROGRAMMABLE by your laptop and easy to use program. Set shifts wherever you want, switch to a manual mode etc, way better than self learning
Jakes performance single billet lockup converter, stall speed is around 3200, perfect on the street

Autometer Gauge package and tach all converted to LED lights, custom aluminum panel
B&M Quicksilver gate/ratchet shifter with transbrake button on handle
Pioneer Bluetooth stereo and front speakers installed in kick panels

AC/heat system and vent tubes removed
S&W 8 point roll bar completely welded in and also tied into Heidts subframe connectors, roll bar has extended rear bars to save the back seat
Scat pro car seats and G force camlock 5 point harnesses, rear seats newly covered, new rear interior plastics
Summit (MSD) digital ignition
Tanks INC EFI fuel tank and 1000hp capable in tank pump
All braided feed and return lines
Mickey Thompson ET Street SS Drag Radials basically new 250 mi on them
Pypes Race pro Mufflers and X pipe (also have the over axle pipes- see below)
Strange overbuilt 9" rear setup - powdercoated housing,Daytona pinion setup, Detroit truetrac differential, US gear 3.89 ring and pinion, 35 spline axles with access holes drilled, Wilwood street disc brake setup, Caltrac traction bars, Summit leaf springs, Energy suspension shackles, new spring mount plates
Here's the things the car needs to make it a perfect 10...
Small ding in driver's door needs a little more smoothing out
Car is coated in removable plasti dip at the moment, easily peel it off and it has a nice black finish. It does have a few clear coat swirls and scratches from dust, a simple scuff/respray will fix that. If I kept it that would have been a winter project. I coated it to protect the current finish
Back plastic decklid panel needs replaced where speakers mount, I had to cut it to fit roll bars $20
X pipe needs a slight bend to raise the mufflers up, because they are so low I can't install the over axle pipes or they sit too close to the rear end.. I can't find a shop locally that can bend 3"... might be easier to just get rid of the X and do simple 3" true duals.
Fuel gauge only starts going down once it reaches 5 gallons left so it does work but I don't think I calibrated it right when I installed it
Linkage is there but no wiper motor or blades installed
Hood needs to be aligned better and a new, stiffer spring on hood release
Steering wheel needs to be centered
So there you have it, all in all a combo worth upwards of $40k... Car turns a low 2200 at 70MPH in overdrive, great on the highway and once broken in should run low 10's even 9.90's with a fatter rear slick or pro bracket radial
I need to get cash out of this so I am pricing for a quick sale... Again, if you would like this setup in your Chevelle, Nova etc, just swap it all over! This is a bulletproof street/ strip combo that will take anything you can dish out even if you decide to add a power adder etc..The car alone as a rust free roller should still bring a decent chunk of change. I took the time to put it together but have no more free time to take it back apart so with that said...
