Car description |

For Sale is my 1962 Corvair Panel Van. Just finished restoration. The cargo area of the van is empty and only has side panels with no flooring. Has original bench seat which is in great shape. It has a few tread marks in it from a tire which was sitting in the seat when I bought it. Also Mileage is approximate, The previous owner replaced the gauge cluster so I'm unsure exact mileage.
Body -Full 2 stage very expensive and well done paint job. In exceptional condition. Wheels were also restored at the time of painting. I also replaced all rubber from Clarks Corvair. All window moldings and rubber door seals have been replaced. The dash was resprayed and very nicely pinstriped as well. I also purchased the last NOS corvan rear engine grille available for the car.
Chassis -All brake parts have been replaced. New wheel cylinders, new shoes, new drums, brand new hard lines, soft lines, and upgraded dual master cylinder. Tires have under 500 miles on them as well.
Mechanical -Engine and transmission have both been fully serviced and all leaks repaired. I still get an output shaft leak every once in a while from one of the seals but only when it has been sitting and not being driven. Car is also upgraded to be compliant with Air Conditioning. It didn't have a belt on the compressor when I bought it but the compressor seems to turn just fine, It is the one item I haven't addressed but it accepts all standard GM parts so I can't imagine it would be cheap.
Literally no expense spared on this van. It is a fantastic advertising piece for a business.
Thank you for bidding!
